AND THE WINNING NUMBER IS.... 143! Congratulations pjwelch! You can see the results of the contest on the forum - amazingly, only one person picked this number. So, what was the significance of 143? If you're old school, you'll remember that 143 was the old beeper code for "I love you" - because we love our readers! <3 <3 <3 And this contest was all about sharing the love, which will be shipped to in the color of the winner's choice. Thanks everyone for playing - and remember - the new contest begins this Friday! If you poke around enough in the forums you might be able to discover what it is... mwhahahaha. Here's a little about the lucky guy, which you can respond to in the Destructoid Forums [ click here ]
Just found the site today, and I have to say, "....Sweeeet" I've been looking for a site like this for a long time. Needless to say, keep up the great work. You keep me company on the long boring St. Louis nights..... 'cough' Loser! 'cough' So my name's Paul. I'm from the most boring state in the U.S., which is an upside to being a gamer- more time to round my skillz. I've been gaming since the mid 80's- you know mario, duck hunt, zelda, bayou billy... The good old stuff. I have owned every system from the NES up. I currently own a 360 and... crap I sold everything else to buy it. Dang! I finally moved to an area that offered DSL and got hooked on the narcotic known as Final Fantasy XI. I wish I had never heard of that game. It takes way too much time out the real world. But I absolutely love it. (If anyone is on Odin, send Tryst a /tell and holla at me.) I've been a fan of RPGs ever since I rented Chrono Trigger for my SNES. From there it spawned to FFIII and so on and so forth...I've been hooked ever since. I have owned almost all of them, from 6-11, Tactics, and of course III (which is 6).
