Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

While attending the Unreal Tournament III launch event in San Francisco, Destructoid talked to Epic Games VP Mark Rein about the upcoming PC and PS3 releases of the title. We made sure to get the full details on the launch date of the recently delayed PS3 version, and it looks like we're hoping for a 2007 launch just as much as Epic is.

In our interview, Rein talks about why UT III is so unreal, mentioning how "frantic" the game play is.

"You get in, and stuff is flying all around you," Rein says. "You jump into a vehicle and you're right in the battle. And to me, that's great; I'm not running around for 20 minutes and then getting shot in the head by some random guy."

Unreal Tournament III is shipping November 16th for the PC, and we'll continue to keep our fingers crossed for a PS3 version holiday release.

Husky, I appreciate the attempt but the cutesy "how unreaaaal is unreal Tournament" and/or "how unreal is the destructoid community" is just amateurish crap that draws attention to yourself as not being quite prepared for the interview. Its not funny, its annoying. You can do an interesting interview without the MTV-style antics, be humorous etc by all means buy drop the wacky style before you get into the habit of doing it every time you do a Q&A.

Yes, I know, no one asked for my opinion, I'm and asshole, etc. I get it.

Well I apologize for the fact you didn't like the interview, although community shout-outs are a tradition in Destructoid videos I disagree it's drawing attention to the interviewer not being prepared for a video, if you wanted a serious interview, I can direct you to your local news channel and or other web shows who's name relates to gaining a life. If you don't agree with our 'wacky' style, nobody is forcing you to watch it, and if you find it annoying I still thank you for taking the time to register and contribute to a website you seem to disrespect so much.

And you're not an asshole for stating your opinion, in fact user feedback is what drives us for better videos, however I don't see community shouts coming to an end any time soon. Although I may not agree with your opinion I'm not going to go ape shit and start throwing meaningless cuss words at you, thanks for the comment and again, I apologize you didn't like the video
