Destructoid Halloween 2006 (1 of 2)

video game costume Destructoid is a robot of taste. Never does he rush to photograph himself with mustached women, however, this was clearly an exception we enjoyed. There's no doubt about it -- Mario and Luigi were everyone's favorite video game costume of the year. Considering that they're also the most recognized characters in the history, I suppose we'll let it slide. Alex Ryan was in San Francisco and even taught two drunk Mario Brothers to make a D and T for an essential Destructoid photo of the duo. In addition to grabbing people off the street, some Destructoid readers sent in their Halloween costumes. Check out Scorpio, Raiden, Princess Peach, and our Ninjtendo Ninja CTZ after the jump. video game costume Funny enough, when we arrived at Purdy Lounge the same 8-Bit artist had refreshed his collection with four pixel-perfect Street Fighter 2 character selection thumbnails. No matter where we go, games are there. Traveling the streets as Destructoid out of context was a very humorous experience. Simply put, Japanese tourists went ape shit. Children of the 80's cried JOHNNY FIVE IS ALIVE! People broke out in energetic robot dancing with me. I've some of this on film and will be uploading a video this weekend of the freaks that patrolled Miami Beach's Lincoln Road district last night. Until then, here's a handful of photos from the evening. video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume video game costume
