Destructoid Exclusive: Dragonball Z: Infinite World screens photo

For some reason, we have five exclusive screens of Atari's upcoming PS2 title, Drazonball Z: Infinite World.

Infinite World is similar to other DBZ fighting games, except it features new "Dragon Missions" which recreate many moments from the anime and charge the player with tasks that are't restricted purely to pugilism. For instance, one of the announced missions involves running the length of Snake Way within a time limit. A similar feature was in the first Budokai, but was ommitted from follow up games.

Anyway, check out the screens OTHERWISE THE WHOLE UNIVERSE IS GOING TO DIIIIIIE!

Destructoid does not guarantee the quality of its exclusives.

I am quite surprised that it's expected of me to buy Dragonball Z : Budokai 3 a second time. Because that's what this pretty much is.

Maybe if this was a continuation of the Tenkaichi series I would look into it, but I'm tired of DBZ games that play like Budokai. We need a new Tenkaichi where the maps are just entire planets that we can fly around on and blow shit up. That would be cool.

I'm glad it's a 2.5D game again. The over the shoulder stuff didn't do it for me. Budokai 3 and Burst Limit were pretty good games.

Great a new dbz game (and on the PS2 even better), now all they have to do is make that DBZ fan series :(

Good work just keep milking the DBZ tit, which by now is a old, saggy and the milk is sour.

I think we need to bring more ideas for this purpose. Involvement of young people can be handy in this regard. I am happy to find a good post here. Thank you
