Wow, this is nowhere near as effective as the game. I'm wondering why people would go back to the Ishimura after Issac left, but I guess that might be explained in the film. I don't know, the first anime was pretty crappy, so I don't have much hope.

I haven't been following the non-game DS2 stuff as well as I should. Is this something that is covered in DS2 itself, or is this film the only way to see this piece of lore? Thanks!

Issac never was able to explain his ordeal on the Ishimura and they lost all communication on arrival. At the end of Dead Space 2 no one but Issac was left alive to know.

I love the japanese anime art style, makes it feel a lot more serious, i hated the western look of the original animated movie.

The whole premise of this movie just makes me think of the light grenade from the horrible movie "mom and dad save the world"
This looks awful. "longer and gorier". Gore for the sake of gore is lame.

Wow, given the article's header image I thought this was going to be great, guess I was wrong. First, the art style didn't translate too well, second, I felt that animation was lacking. Sorry, but I can't say I'll be picking this up, it's taking too much of what I like about Dead Space and ignoring it.

You do realize that they are going for an Animatrix/Halo Legends/Dante's Inferno look and feel with Aftermath, right?
Honestly, there are few too little decent video game movies out there, most of which, such as Doom, Alone in the Dark/2, and DOA, just to name a few, aren't all that great. Downfall was excellent in its own right and from what I've seen so far Aftermath could easily be better. I’m totally checking it out on the 25th.
Also, there are more clips on YouTube for those who are interested.

The first film was terrible and I don't see why this will be any better but I'll check it out anyway.
I'm kind of surprised that Molyneux didn't mention Monty Python and the Holy Grail, a movie whose influence is all over the more humorous bits of the game. There's even an achievement in Fable 2 that makes direct reference to it. Putlocker Movies
