Destructoid and King of Fighters XII have a Twitter Party photo

What the Hell is a Twitter party? I'm still not entirely sure myself, but one is being had, so you better get used to it. This Friday on July 24, at 3pm Central, our official Destructoid Twitter account, in association with Ignition and Rocket XL, will have 15 copies of the game to give away (winner's console preference), along with 20 signed posters. That's quite good going for fighting fans, and it's really easy to be in with a chance to win.

What you need to do is make sure you're following our Dtoid account on Twitter when the party starts. Then, get yourself into some King of Fighters XII discussion with us while using the tag "#KOF12." Also, be sure to follow the King of Fighters Twitter feed, and the Facebook group. They'll be spurring discussion along as well and will be your one-stop shop for KoF-related discussion topics.

Remember, whenever King of Fighters is discussed by yourself on Twitter, make sure to use the hashtag "#KOF12" to be eligible for prizing. We'll be giving them out randomly, and that's all there is to it. Getting a chance to win games and swag just by talking about King of Fighters with Destructoid on Twitter? Easy as buggery, mate!

Oh, and just in case you were wondering, this is open to worldwider entrants!

Ok, well...I won SNK/Playmore/Ignition's "12 Days of KOF contest" on twitter for today (07/22)! (free copy of KoF 12 for PS3!)
(so happy right now im about to jump through my ceiling!)

I've never been an advocate of twitter until tonight. My GF and I realised so little of our friends are on it and wondered if they'd all join on once we did. Are those the wrong reasons to join twitter? Mayhaps, but fuck it. It's all in good fun :D

Hey Everyone! - NOTE - Dinomas is my Twitter Account

I'm from Rocket XL and I'll be giving out prizing during the Twitter party, so look out for questions/comments from me and I'll award them randomly. If you win a game it's console of your choice and if you win a poster, it's signed by Ogara-San (the main illustrator of the game). I'll call out the winners during the party and ask for your mailing info afterward.

How it works: essentially by using the #KOF12 hashtag it's makes all the conversations flow to the same search area, making it into a chat room of such...where you can interact with each other. Use services like www.tweetgrid.com/party and they'll organize by the hashtag #KOF12 and all using that hashtag will appear in real time and you can message in realtime as well. Pretty easy once you get going.
