During their Q4 2013 financial results, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick proclaimed that Bungie's Destiny will be the "next billion dollar franchise" for the company. He expects it to be "the best-selling videogame in history," in fact.
That's a pretty tall order, Activision. Destiny is going to be great, but best-selling videogame in history? Good luck with that!more
While the initial reveal left a bad taste in my mouth, I'd be insane to say I wasn't looking forward at all to Destiny. It's easily one of my most anticipated games of 2014 in fact, I just hope Bungie can deliver on their vision.
In the mean time, enjoy some new screens from Destiny. It's probably stupid that I'm overly excited on discovering new cloaks to wear in the game, huh?more
