Desktop Tower Defense is back with a vengeance photo

I was playing tower defense games long before (well, the Warcraft III days) Desktop Tower Defense became the hit that it is now, but even still I played the game for an unholy amount of time without growing tired in the least bit.

The cool cats at Rock, Paper, Shotgun have let everyone know that a pro-ified version has popped up on the Internet. In other, more sensible words, it's still free, but Desktop TD Pro has even more great content, and expanded player options. And if you aren't feeling the new style shown above, there is actually an option to revert back to the hand drawn look.

Hopefully, your day at the office will fly by thanks to this game. Just don't get caught, because I don't want that on my already guilty conscience.

Oooh... nice. It's been a while since I've played this, so I guess it's time to try it out again.

And the Internet collectively shut down, just to play this game. They really ought to make it a pay title; they could make so much money off this.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
