Anyone up for a double shot of Xbox LIVE Arcade this week? Well, we're getting one either way. This Wednesday will see the release of two lesser known downloadable games, Yo-Ho Kablammo and Defense Grid: The Awakening. Both games have an asking price of 800 Microsoft Points.
I don't recall ever hearing about Yo-Ho Kablammo before, and trust me, with a name like that, I certainly would. Having no actual first-hand experience with the title, I want to say it reminds me of Capcom's Age of Booty, but that could just be a generalization on my part.
Tower defense players can probably recognize Defense Grid, since this XBLA release is actually a port of the immensely fun PC game of the same name. Excluding any weird problems with transferring it from PC to Xbox 360 that could theoretically pop up, I can't recommend this game enough.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.
