I'm kinda interested by the new levels, but I don't want to fight Death Adder, one of the cheapest bosses in history....
Since it will have more levels that means I'll have even less lives and continues when I reach him! HUZZAH?!

Defeat Death Adder on the can: Golden Axe available on iTunes App Store
Sega has announced that Golden Axe is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch like, right now. You can hop on the iTunes Apps Store and grab the game for $4.99, and get your Amazon on. The classic game appears to be fully playable using the touch screen, which is overlayed with a mostly-transparent d-pad and three button set-up. Not sure what you're supposed to do when a dwarf runs off with your magic vile and gets all up underneath your thumb, but I'm sure Sega has it worked out. Golden Axe for the iPhone/iPod Touch features all of the levels of the original, plus two bonus levels not found in the original. Surprisingly, the original Golden Axe holds up pretty well after all of these years, and $4.99 doesn't seem to steep. You thinking about picking this one up? Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)It's not in Europe yet... Is it the Genesis version or the arcade? I hope it's the arcade one!
I'm kinda interested by the new levels, but I don't want to fight Death Adder, one of the cheapest bosses in history.... Since it will have more levels that means I'll have even less lives and continues when I reach him! HUZZAH?! The Genesis version of Golden Axe sucks a dick. I don't know why Sega insists on continually shoveling out Genesis roms of games with much better arcade counterparts when it's such a trivial matter to emulate the better version. 5:15 PM on 06.06.2012 E3: Gilius Thunderhead & All-Stars Racing TransformedThis is not an announcement that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is being renamed Gilius Thunderhead & All-Stars Racing Transformed. 3:38 PM on 08.20.2008 Golden Axe screens: Now with more ogres and arsesI grew up with Golden Axe, which is why I desperately want Golden Axe: Beast Rider to be good, even though the old school brawling sensibilities seem to have taken a back seat to vehicular monsters and there is STILL NO PLAYA...
8:25 AM on 11.27.2007 New Golden Axe = Lair? Lack of playable dwarf = FAIL, at any rateAs far as I'm concerned, it's hard to go wrong with a Golden Axe remake. Just give me a dwarf and a shedload of skeletons to fight and I'm happy. Of course, this is the games industry, and nobody ever does the right thing whe...
