Animation where he stabbed the skeleton with the blue knife thingies and his run towards the monster at the end looked really awkward. Unimpressive trailer is unimpressive.

looks cool always in the mood for W-RPGS.

@hamza: Your article says the head designer of morrowind the third game in the series, but the trailer says the elder scrolls IV which is oblivion. just thought I'd point it out.

Some of that animation is fucking terrible. Like really, really terrible.

He was a designer on both games.

Also what is the point of stabbing skeletons? If this is anything like Demon's Souls that would be dope, but I doubt it.

Yeah the animation left a lot to be desired and we also have another stubble-haired and stubble-jawed white guy as the protagonist (or at least the star of the trailer)

Over all reaction: eh.

Considering the people involved, and the demon's souls but westernised feel of the trailer, this has me excited and intrigued as to what they will do with this.

Can't wait to see more!

Sounds like some talent is involved. Will keep an eye on it.

even with all those big names, i still can't respect a video game that involves curt "i really wish i could give george w bush a blowie right now" schilling.

@spot the spy: Not an MMO. It's a single-player game.

Up until recently, most information coming out of 38 Studios had been saying that they were working on an MMO, so I was surprised to hear about Amalur.

It might be just a coincidence, but Amalur means "Mother Earth" in vasque.
