Last month, I went to the EA Showcase to preview over 30 games from EA. Out of all of the games I saw, Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure was my favorite game of the show. The platforming and puzzle elements are brought together marvelously and the game is extremely fun.
The first trailer for the game has finally been released, and unfortunately, it doesn't show the best part of the game. You do get to see the special mech power-up that Henry gets, but what's not shown is the amount of firepower it has. I think Henry's mech would give a Gundam a run for its money.
What do you guys and gals think of the game now that you've seen some gameplay footage?
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Looks like some developers have been locked away with the Indiana Jones collection, a copy of Warioland, (a Gameboy to play it on) and a TV that only picks up British 1930's television.
This might be pretty fun. I'm having a problem lately finding things for the DS that I'm addicted to like I was with Professor Layton, so this could be the next one for me.
looks awsome and my wife loves games like those (puzzle, mystery, adventure, anything cake mania diner dash esc) so its a must buy for me
but I'd like to know from our good friend Hamza CTZ Aziz is do you control the adventure element by solving the puzzle game?
that seems like the puzzle game would distract from the adventure and you'd miss stuff
30 levels? I don't wanna sound like a stickler for length, but somethign this good I wouldn't mind having more of then just 30 levels. It worries me that either the mechanic gets old by 30 levels, or that they just weren't creative enough to think up another 20 or so.
mind you, I could be completely wrong. if this has some crazy replay value then my arguement is moot.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Looks awesome though.
