i remember playing the demo ,it came when i order pizza hut and they gave you a demo disc ,sad i never bought it always wanted to play it :)ill buy it on psn someday
They were 3d games and bloody brilliant for their time too, adventure gaming at its best (on the ps1). Had a great element of humour as well which really made it unique.

The first Medievil game was awesome! I haven't played it since I bought my PS2 back in 2001, but still!
Also, Sony needs to get Syphon Filter on the PS3, but none of that Omega Strain crap. We want to play as Gabe and Lian!

they're kinda like Legacy of Kain with Jak and Daxter(1st one) platform mechanics. the game's atmosphere and weapons really stand out on it's own.

I'd buy it. I think it could work well with 1:1 Move sword controls, too, so long as it's optional (in case it doesn't).

Sadly, Rival Schools 3 will never come....nor will Power Stone 3, Plasma Sword 3, or any other of the cool capcom 3d fighters :(.

That PSP game had too much slowdown and had a camera that was too up close and personal. I wanted to like it like I had the older ones, but alas. If they take another stab at it, I'd be more than happy to try it out.
This is why Sony is the 3rD~! best 1st Party developer 3rd only to Nintendo and Sega {Cause dreamcast was that awesome :D}
Just a psn title would satiate my thirst for this. Sony has an excellent backlog of titles; it's a shame they enjoy not promoting things they own that would make them boatloads of cash.

Aurain: don't be an asshole. Maybe it isn't up to your preferences or standards, but it's a perfectly functional shooter with nice atmosphere, trying to differentiate itself quite well.
I never played Medievil 2 but I heard it wasn't nearly as good as Medievil 1. That being said, Medievil 1 was probably one of my most played PS1 titles, I used to play the demo to DEATH since it came with my PS1. Loved that game.
Back during my Diablo 2 days I had a paladin named DanielFortesque (which fit PERFECTLY, you couldn't have any additional character spaces, the name used up the exact maximum number of letters. Plus once you beat the game you could get the "Sir" prefix)

I thought I read that Cambridge was working on a new IP for PS3, which was rumored to be Medievil. No?
DUDE. I'm a fan of Medievil as well. I AGREE WITH THIS 100%. Besides, Home never should have existed in the first place.
PSM3 reported that Sony Cambridge was making a new MediEvil game back in July of 2010. If it is true, I hope we see something this E3.

I agree with Jim. I'd actually like to see a follow-up to Primal, too. I love me some Sony Cambridge!
I pray to Zombie Christ that Sony makes another Medievil game. I hope its based on the original Medievil though, and not the remake. Sorry kids, but that genie character is just plain lame.
