Dear moron,

Thank you for providing a snapshot of stupidity for the gaming public, something we can use as a visual representation of purest idiocy. Before, we could only use metaphors to describe the imbecilic way in which people align themselves with a particular games machine, but now we have you. 

Also, you do realize that as happy as you may be about having "PS3" tattooed on your arm right now, you are going to feel like a complete and utter penis when the PlayStation 4 is released, right? I mean, seriously, people are going to laugh at you even more than they do now.  I know how you will answer this, because you've already preempted me in your video chronicling this rampant act of foolishness:

"How is this really any different from any other tattoo people get done? It's my life, my choice. and I find people hating me for doing something that effects them in no way at all. i think that says a lot about the society we currently live in."

Let me answer, because it's Saturday morning, and there's nothing else to do. Firstly, it's different from other tattooes in that it will upset you in about ten years' time when the PS3 is but an afterthought. Also I don't hate you, I applaud you. What you have done says a lot about the society we currently live in. Also also aaaalso, that "it's my life," crap is something hippies say to make themselves feel better about being hippies. Thank you for encapsulating it perfectly.

Oh, and the tattoo looks rubbish as well.

Commodore64 is obsolete, but it is a classic, and it is somewhat tattooable(!). If PS3 becomes a classic, this guy already has his tattoo. Tho I'd wait to make sure :P (I don't like a tattoo on my body, btw, but you needn't have called this guy a moron). People tattoo their girlfriends name, it may be worse than tattooing a console name, since you can break up for any reason, including getting cheated on. At least this guy isn't gonne be cheated!

There are some cases where this might be cool if done right but this is obviously not one of thoes cases. I salute his balls for doing this, but getting a company's product name tottooed on your body shows something. The lame thing is, it's not even an official PS3 logo!

If you look at it upside down it reads, ESA. He can tell people someday that it was a tattoo for his ex-girlfriend Esa. Maybe by then tattoo removal will be much cheaper than it is now.

What I don't get it why ANYONE would tattoo . . . a console (or its company) on them. It's just a piece of machinery that, without games, would be worthless.

Getting a tat of a game that meant something to you - whether "serious", like a tattoo of Snake, or not, like a tattoo or Mario or Pac-Man - makes a lot more sense. Using your arse as a company's unpaid billboard is just moronic. That's why I don't get and utterly detest fanboys - it's illogical to blindly "love" one console over another, or enough to do something this silly.

Have there be a story behind it. Make it mean something. Anything but, "lulz kewl the PS3 is so hawt so ima write PS3 on me cuz ah'm EXTREME!"

I think all tattoos are pretty retarded, especially color ones. I think they all look like shit, even if you take really good care of them and get touchups. Until tattoos are genetically altered colored skin cells or some such thing, and can be easily removed if you change your mind, I will think they're retarded.

On this tattoo in particular, WHY that ugly font and not the "Spider-Man" font? Why not just a "SONY" tattoo? Ugh, I just hope he was drunk/high when he got it.

As someone with playstation buttons tattooed on my back. I really have no place to criticize this tattoo. I love mine, and I find my friends brag about my tattoo more then I do. So thats always fun. :)

While I hate fanboys as much as anybody, particularly PS3 fanboys, as long as this guy isn't all up in the websites I read spewing pointless hate-filled rants for no real reason, he can get whatever the fuck he wants tattooed on his body as far as I'm concerned. Sure, it looks like utter shit, but that's completely his problem, and doesn't really affect me at all. For me, the worst thing about this whole situation is that I tried to watch his Youtube video and was immediately assaulted by loud garbage that I'm sure some probably try to refer to as music for an entire two or three seconds before I managed to get the window closed. Having to endure that was the only thing that really pissed me off. Other than that, however, is this really something worthwhile that people should be getting all enraged about? Far be it from me to try to dictate what people should or should not rant about, because I've ranted about some dumb things myself in my time, but this does seem to me to be a really retarded thing to get annoyed about.
