Lots of downloads discounted

[Update: Check our listings again for more additions! We've added some hot ones, like Atlus' deal on Persona 4 Golden for only $19.99. Jump on Steam flash deals like Gone Home for $4.99]

Deal North is back with a roundup of all the pre-Black Friday digital download deals we could find. Of course, many more deals will pop up over the course of the weekend. We'll update this list through Thanksgiving, and then launch with a brand new one starting Black Friday morning.

As always, if we've missed some good deals, let us know!

My recommendations?

If you don't have these yet, get Persona 4 Golden on Vita for $19.99, pick up Grand Theft Auto V for $33.99, and get Rogue Legacy for $5.09.

Amazon:

Amazon has tons of digital goodies lined up, but only a few are available today. Check back on Black Friday for a full blow-out of their digital offerings.

Atlus:

Atlus has many PS3 and Vita games on sale from Nov. 26 through Dec 3, so head to the PlayStation Store to save some bucks. If you still have that PS4 credit laying around, here's some good stuff to spend it on!

  • Demon's Souls (PS3) -- $13.39
  • Dragon's Crown (PS3) -- $29.99 (DLC also discounted)
  • Dragon's Crown (Vita) -- $29.99
  • Droplitz -- $0.99 ($2.49 on PC)
  • Game of Thrones -- $4.99
  • God Mode -- $2.99 ($4.99 on PC on Steam)
  • Persona 4 Arena -- $14.99
  • Persona 4 Arena : Ultimate Edition -- $22.99
  • R.I.P.D. The Game -- $2.99
  • The Cursed Crusade -- $9.99
  • The Testament of Sherlock Holmes -- $19.99
  • Trine 2 (PS3) -- $4.99
  • Zeno Clash II -- $4.99 ($9.99 on PC on Steam)
  • Odin Sphere (PSN) -- $4.99
  • Persona 4 Golden (Vita) -- $19.99 (OH SNAP!)
  • Stella Deus (PSN) -- $4.99
  • Shin Megami Tensei IV (3DS) -- $29.99 (from Nov 28 through Dec 2 only, all DLC under $2)

Square Enix:

Square Enix has a number of items on sale, but we've only listed the digital downloads in the mix. See our full software guide [coming soon] for their physical offerings, or go here for a peek.

Steam:

We'll get you started here, but you need to keep checking Steam as they're updating the sale items every 8 hours. Here's what they have right now.

New as of 8 p.m.:

Xbox Live

These Xbox 360 Games on Demand deals run from Nov 26 through Dec 2.

Reverb Publishing:

Reverb has some nice discounts on indie games on Steam starting today and running through December 3.

Zumba Dance:

Last but not least, the Zumba Dance app (iOS and Android) is normally $4.99, but it's free this weekend, running from today through December 2.

Special thanks to artist Gemma Sheldrake for our new Deal North deals-finding corgi images. They're so cute that I can't stop looking at them!

For the record, the corgi's name is Deal North. She runs about finding the best deals for Destructoid readers.

Toys R Us Black Friday: Still no great Wii U deals

If you're looking to pick up a Wii U this black-weekend-and-also-the-preceding-Thursday, you should probably stay in and scour digital deals (or "digideals," as we call them). You should probably do that anyway, but you shoul...more

Walmart black Friday: Get your cheap Beats and Xbox

All these "black friday" ads seem to lean on the Xbox One. Is that a partnership thing with Microsoft and retailers? Is that retailers not picking up on the notion that the PS4 is selling better? Is it the assumption that the...more
