Here we have a teaser trailer for Deadlight, a puzzle platformer set across a zombie-infested West Coast in 1986. Microsoft Studios is publishing this project by Madrid-based Tequila Works, a studio with its fair share of industry vets.
Unfortunately, the game won't be coming out until summer. (Summer of Arcade, anyone?) There's not much to go on at the moment, though a selection of screenshots were provided. I wasn't so keen on the premise initially, but the presentation is pulling me in. Consider me very eager to find out more about Deadlight.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

I like the way this is turning out. Hope it is part of Summer of Arcade. That way there might be a deal to buy this and get another game free from Machinima. Like last year when I bought Bastion and got The Maw for free.
You know, I kind of had the similar thought. My love for Zombies knows no bounds, I know they're over used and people are kinda sick, but I love them. But yeah.. Idk, maybe AMY (and my near fatal buying of the game -thanks again for the early heads up Jim) kinda proved to me that I can't condone blindly buying Zombie games any more, no matter how "polished" they look.
I'll give this one a shot as a trial of course, but idk if I'll buy it.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Don't play 'em!
