An Israeli TV news show recently broadcast a video tour of Visceral's studios and showed off more than the developer had bargained for -- panning its cameras across a Dead Space 3 logo. Not exactly the most glorious of reveals.
Of course, it's entirely possible that the thing is a hoax, but faking the reveal of an inevitable sequel seems like a complete waste of somebody's time. Then again, people comment on Youtube, so it's not like we have people valuing their minutes online.
Electronic Arts has done what Electronic Arts does best and denied everything, stating: "We don't have any news about the Dead Space franchise at this time."
If this were Killer Instinct III or Sadness, I'd be a lot more skeptical, but Dead Space 3 is simply something that's going to happen. EA might as well come clean.
