Electronic Arts has just announced the very first downloadable content pack (note: holy crap, there are already armor packs up for sale? You waste no time, EA!) for Dead Space 2. It's called Severed and it features two extra single-player chapters featuring the characters from Visceral's Wii/PS3 spin-off, Dead Space: Extraction.
Players will step into the shoes of Gabe, a Sprawl security guard who is attempting to escape the Necromorph attack with Lexine. It'll be set at some point during Isaac's Clarke's own nightmare.
No price or date details yet, nor any word on a PC version. Stay tuned for more, as and when we get it!
