I can't speak for Uncharted or this, though.
It's like it's becoming an expected thing.
Just because it's now in a big city doesn't mean it won't still be clausterphobic and tight like the Ishimura. It likely just means there'll be more areas overall to explore. Multiplayer sounds like it could be alright, we simply don't know enough to make that call. I was hoping for some sort of Horde-like survival mode honestly, but a vs. mode could be okay. Think Left-4-Dead with Necromorphs... I'm excited.
My sentiments exactly.
How come nobody allows for the chance that Dead Space multiplayer might turn out to be, you know, fun?
You cant complain about game series getting stale and samey (ala AC2 & COD) and then complain when a company tries something new
First Capcom with RE 5 and now EA with Dead Space 2.
My expectations for DS2's single player campaign has just been lowered.
What could seperate this
from other online games would be compeling use of zero-g in multiplayer. Obvioulsly this game doesn't lend itself to twitch type deathmatch gameplay so I'm curious to see what they end up doing with it.
But ill remain cautiously optimistic.
Nobody wants Multiplayer because it'll detract from the time the developers could put into making the single player experience much better.
Look at Brutal Legend, it was a lot shorter than it should have been and unpolished due to the time the Dev team spent on the Multiplayer RTS side.
I am a little concerned about the game having multiplayer, but as long as the main story mode remains a solitary experience and the multiplayer is an entirely separate mode I am okay with it. I do not want to see Dead Space 2 become like RE5 and have Isaac constantly accompanied throughout the game.
Dead Space has been THE BEST survival horror game experience on my PS3 so far.
4.5/10 my opinion bitches!
Otherwise, this doesn't sound good, but then again, I'm also against BioShock 2 multiplayer...
