Dead Rising Mobile now available for iPhone
Frank West is back in the mall. No, he's not holiday shopping. He's fighting off undead again in Dead Rising Mobile, Capcom's latest release on the iTunes App Store. Just like in the original game, Frank uses crap he finds around the mall to hold off zombies. He also scrounges for food to stay alive. This sounds just like what I'm expecting my weekend to be like! When you die in Dead Rising Mobile, you can send out a distress call via Facebook or Twitter to be revived. If revived, you and your reviver receive bonuses. If you die you come back as a zombie in your friend's game. Neat! Dead Rising is available for a special introductory price of $4.99 for a limited time. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)That is pretty interesting, even though I despise facebook integration and from-game social media spam. I think that this is the kind of stuff companies are looking at from different perspectives - some want single player games to draw more players in, and feed off the free viral advertising. On the other hand, for single player games to do this invisibly with other people playing the same game at the same time, is the way to go (think demons souls or even the onlive game browser grid) Yay another game I can't play on my iPod Touch. My DS totally does that, that's why APPLE WINZ.
But looks good... just bitter I can't play the damn thing. More on screen zombies than the Wii version! Think this will be a pass. Dead Rising is probably my favourite game this generation and I don't want this trying to ruin that association. The Facebook integration sounds cool, but seems pointless. I don't even know anyone who owns an iPod Touch, so I don't see any of that functionality going to use. chamber, so I went and sought them in church and confessional. 2:01 AM on 05.20.2013 Review: Resident Evil Revelations (Wii U)Resident Evil Revelations was a great action horror title. So good, it absolutely humiliated Resident Evil 6 by being superior in every single way -- a fact made especially delicious considering it was a 3DS game in contrast ...
