I know we cried wolf before, but that was for humor's sake. That other stuff? Definitely not even close to looking real, and even Capcom gave us sh*t for posting that.

This at least looks like something real, or the intro to something I'd like to play. Unfortunately, I don't know how much faith I can put into this being actual leaked footage. We will just call it now: it's a well-done fake...probably.

Nothing's clear enough to get a good look at. Some of the shots earlier in the video look just like the first Dead Rising. And the casino shots? That's my dream for a Dead Rising sequel, and I want it to be real, but they just don't feel legit to me.

We contacted Capcom for a comment, and I think I know what they're going to say.

What say you, Destructoid?

[Thanks, Brett]

If it's fake I just wonder how they made those gameplay sections with the ball and the casino.
I hope they come barging in screaming "Yes! We know you want Dead Rising 2! So here is Dead Rising 2! ENJOY!"

Wouldn't surprise me if it rolled either way, fake or real.
I didn't enjoy the first title that much, but here's to hoping they can pull off something new and special for the sequel.

Yeah, the ball section looks real and the zombies seem to appearing in the casino at different angles in different shots. I don't know... It could totally be fake, a very good fake, but it looks pretty real. Either way, a cool video.

I totally buy it. Too well produced, way too many voices and new visual shots.

My guess is that it'll be included in the Wii game, Bioshock 2 style. Somebody just took the video early.

That trailer looks pretty cool to me. If that is the real teaser, consider me excited. Well, excited as long as the gameplay changes they made for the Wii port of Dead Rising 1 don't carry over to Dead Rising 2.

there also seem to be some zombie service maids (you know, the ones in the bunny suits) in the casino...
I'm going to sleep now, dreaming and hoping that next day I look at Destructoid I can glee at the good news.

I'm with Banana Kid, it seems to well put together to be fake. Add that to the announcement slip that japanese guy made awhile ago and I say it's fairly credible.

A 2 flashes on the screen at the end

Yes, my vote goes to real.

It looks totally viral.

That's an awesome trailer. The whole bootleg effect is really awesome. It fits pretty well too.

I don't know...I can drive about 20 minutes and go to a real-life casino with elderly zombies all over the place. It's not that exciting!

I can't help but notice it includes the Wikipedia entry on Zombies. I don't know if that means it's more real or more fake...

That's a pretty insane fake if it is.

Its real, its gotta be, if we believe its real then it is but we have to believe.

Seems pretty legit to me. If it is fake, I applaud them though. Also, the wikipedia entry was misspelled, which i thought was kinda funny.

Still, this has me wanting this more. But I'm not going to get my hopes up for a while.

It's a decently done fake if it's a fake.

It's real enough to where someone who probably doesn't actually speak japanese went to the trouble to type out "zombie" correctly in katakana at one point in the video.

I'd bet money on it being viral. Viral's all the rage these days with the kids and the whole "fake or not fake" and the loose legged pants and the Twilights and the Nirvanas and the AWWWW, to heck with the lot of ya.

People love to call bullshit on stuff. Well I'm going to be different than y'all, cos it'll make my balls fell like they're made of brass if I'm right! My faith in things like this has seen me humiliated a few times but I'm still willing to believe it. This trailer is too good to be a fake, it actually wouldn't have crossed my mind unless you'd mentioned it.

If I'm wrong, all it will mean is that the guy who made it should be working in the industry, not wasting their time with fakes.

This is a lot more convincing that the last couple of videos. If this is fake, they've gone to a quite a lot of effort to create certain scenes for that...

Whatever it is I like it. Also, why wouldn't Capcom make a sequel.

If they were to make it this year, much less announce it, this'll be the year of the Capcom.

The zombie wikipedia page is misspelled Zombrex on purpose, cause it's the name Issabella gave to the drug she gave Frank in Overtime mode to halt the zombification.

She must have made more and published it.
