Dead Rising 2: Case Zero sold extremely well because the content was great and the price was greater. Whereas that pre-launch standalone game was $5, Case West will be $10 when it releases for Xbox LIVE on Tuesday, December 27.
Are people willing to pony up for Frank West? We'll see. Case Zero was perfect for those who liked the idea of Dead Rising but wanted a lower-risk environment where restarting didn't hold the same weight. In theory, Case West should offer something similar.
I wonder how many players will buy both of these digital games but pass on Dead Rising 2. Does that describe any of you?
