It looks like content from every Dead or Alive jammed into this with one or two new characters and stages. Eh... after playing Street Fighter IV, I don't really think I can go back to this series.
Sorry, just lost it's appeal after Itigaki left....
Yo - I just stumbled on this, and I read you needed help with a translation. So I've done a quick one of the text. Here it is:
'Dead or Alive 1...2...3...4...'
'Dead or Alive Dimensions'
Won't you have a fistfight one more time?
Digital Instructions
All sorts of combos can be performed by touch!
Tag Challenge
Pool your power with a friend and fight powerful enemies!
Street Fight
Challenge through passing communication/communication passing by (diagram suggests wifi but doesn't say so)
Fight the Challenger's Alter Ego/Other Self! ('New Challenger' is shouted though it's a bit confusing as next footage is not related, simply showing footage of Hitomi Vs. Lei-Fang)
Internet Play
Battle in Worldwide Fights!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it. Sorry I didn't translate the speech. I couldn't hear it through my crappy speakers. But if you really want I can see what I can do with that.
Take it easy
"Take it Easy"
Nice addition of the Terry Bogard quote.
ROUUUND WAVE!
(Hey, SNK. Make a Garou:Mark of Wolves 3DS port!)
@ ran196- Holy Crap, you're right! Screen cap from GoNintendo for those who missed it.

And they've clearly just lost track of the plot too. I wouldn't have thought that losing Itagaki would cause them to go quite so mental, but really? Unless they claim it was all just a dream, this shit makes no sense. Raidou returns four years after being stabbed in the fucking face? Tengu's back too? It shows Eliot and not Gen Fu so clearly they're placing this after DOA4, but then half of this looks like a remake of the first game.
This also makes me worry terribly about the balancing. DOA, so far, has typcially been very good with character balance (granted, not as good as the first two Soul Caliburs, but still significantly more even than any Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, Tekken or Virtua Fighter) and that has been its main gameplay selling point. But if the new team can't even handle the concept of time, how the hell are they going to know how to balance the gameplay? £5 says that Kasumi and Hitomi end up overpowered monsters and Bayman and Tina won't be capable of shit.
By the way, "some guy with glowing red eyeballs"? That's arguably the most important character in the whole series (although one that also died in the very first game and should not be in this one at all). You can't have played a single DOA game before without seeing him mentioned. C'mon, rookie mistake.
All that said, at least it's good to finally get confirmation that all the regular cast will be in. For a while there it was getting scary how they only kept showing the fuck-boring ninjas.
looks cool and all hopefully Dead or Alive 5 for console will feature basically everyone in the DOA franchise inlcuding Ryu.
oh and a new Blood Roar would be nice. that's probably the only fighting game im waiting for them to revive along with Rival Schools
But a new Bloody Roar would be awesome. Those games had great ideas, they were just sadly limited by the old hardware and ended up taking the transformation mechanic over everything else. I would hope on the current generation of consoles they could become legitmately good fighting games.
@Epic-KxDtoid - Haha, you're right. I didn't even realise, as 'take it easy' is a phrase I often say when I leave or end a conversation.
And yeah, I would love a port of Mark of the Wolves, though not in HD like Capcom have done, unless it's kept in its original style. Even better would be the sequel that was abandoned when the Neo Geo platform fell, called 'Garou: Legacy of Might', which had new characters and moves, including the addition of Andy Bogard and Ryo Sakazaki as Mr. Karate.
And yes, this does look incredible for a handheld.
I'll end up buying this anyway.
