Anyway, Tecmo Koei will be offering Dead or Alive Dimensions players free daily DLC costumes, which will be distributed via SpotPass. While not the most mindblowing of offerings, this scheme does show off the potential for downloadable content in 3DS games, and it's pretty cool stuff.
Tecmo plans to release 28 costumes, including one that can only be obtained on launch day. The launch costume will arrive at 10am on the March 24, with a new download available 9am every day -- excluding Mondays -- until April 24.
While I'm not a player of fighting games, I love stuff like this and I hope it becomes a regular thing with 3DS titles. This is the kind of DLC I can get behind -- and no it's not because they're going to stick Tina in a cat costume.
