Fuck yes, I am so excited for this game. Even if it sucks, the mindless zombie killing will assure I buy this game. Co-op is just fucking jizz inducing awesome sauce.
The risk of doing a 4 player (I think...I don't know that actual number and the trailer doesn't say) co-op mode/game with zombies is inevitably you're going to be compared to the quite great dialogue in L4D. This dialogue sounds to be poorly written sterotypes with some swears thrown in for good measure.
Can't wait for this. Everything I've seen has me going for a day one purchase. Fallout 3 + dead rising + borderlands = one happy Phil.
This is looking fantastic but I kinda want to wait till some reviews leak out as pre-ordering could be risky....
everything ive seen as far as game play didnt look good at all. unless it was a mad early build. the kicks look stupid. the shooting looks bland, the driving horrible, throwing stuff at zombies looks silly, the fact you can walk in and out of an area and have the weather keep changing back and forth. no real dynamic weather kinda sucks. i will say BUT if this stuff can be fixed before it comes out it could be an interesting game. although i feel like its nothing but fetch and body guard quests.
I dunno, if you had an island DLC for Left4Dead that would do away with the desire to buy this game.

Yeah, no. Stop trying to differentiate yourself from other zombie games then doing exactly the same as them. That "shock" reveal of the mutated zombie wasn't shocking at all because Valve did it three years ago. Much better. In a way cooler video.

oh and i have to say, im sick and tired of these class based fps's with 4 stereo typed character ideas. especially when you can have more than one of the same character in coop session. now if i could make my own guy and dress him how i liked it wouldnt feel so generic.
I've really got high hopes for this..I really enjoy the fact that they took so much time to work on the design of the island. Think it looks great. I'm just hoping I don't crush this game in under 3 or 4 hours
