DDR Universe 3 available on Games on Demand photo

Apparently you guys demanded Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3, because it's now available on Xbox 360 Games on Demand.

Yes, for $29.99 you'll get a whole batch of new songs to stomp around to which you can expect to take up about 4 gigs of your 360's HDD. Of course, you'll have to have a dance mat, which means you may have to leave your house if you don't already own one. Which kind of defeats Games on Demands' purpose, which is to enable our lazy gamer habits.

You can add the game to your download queue online, or you can not do that at all. Your call.

Ah. A simpler time in music gaming. The same amount of releases, less bitching about it.

And what RenegadePanda said.

I got this from K-mart with pad a few months back for $5. No fooling.

Universe 3 is also by far the best home version DDR in a long time. Take that as advice from the person that created the stepfile for Quasar, among many other Stepmania favorites.

I love to play QUASAR on Expert (F*CKING STEPCHAT)... And I love to play 888 on DDR Universe 3 on my DDR MAT on Challenge...

I've never bought a ddr for the 360 cause I have a decent mat that works on the wii, ps2 and pc that wouldn't work on it.

@Knives

Do yourself a favor and try the Universe series, it's infinitely better than any of the later PS2 versions (Supernova and DDRX) and has superior music selection above both the later PS2 and Wii versions.

In fact, the Xbox DDR's, even back to the Ultramix series, have some really good music. Nothing like dancing to the alert theme from Metal Gear Solid 2.

I thought it was to showcase how stupid MS can get with Downloadable Games. Case in Point. The Rest of the world just got MOH Airborn yet we got DDR. I'll reiterate. The Rest of the world just got MOH Airborn yet WE got DDR..

The statement is flawed in two places.
1) For some reason a downloadable game isn't region free.
2) They think Americans would rather play DDR than an FPS.

"They think Americans would rather play DDR than an FPS."

One is more accessible, the other isn't.

Deal with it. And Universe 3 is worth it.
