DC Universe Online now available in PlayStation Store photo

If you want to buy the PS3 version of Sony Online Entertainment's latest MMO, DC Universe Online, you no longer have to go out to the store to get a copy. The title has now been added to the PlayStation Store where it's available for $59.99.

When I got my copy of DC Universe Online within a few days of release, there were already 1.3 gigs of content that needed to be downloaded from the servers. Considering that the disc is essentially valueless and you can't resell it, it really only makes sense to have it available digitally. At the same time, I would think it's hard to resist doing a retail release just for the marketing presence.
