Skyrim's Dawnguard beta invites are out, and now you can live out your wildest Tom Cruise Interview With a Vampire fantasy in the world of Tamriel (sans Brad Pitt of course). According to this great, cautious preview from our own Allistair Pinsof, the full version will net you around 15-20 hours of extra content, much like Oblivion's Shivering Isles (not bad!).

I really like the idea of a Bethesda beta test -- maybe if they keep up with this tradition, we'll have less signature "Bethesda glitches" to complain about. Plus, a Fallout 4 beta would be real nice (are you listening, guys?).

Be sure and let us know if you got one, and what your experiences are so far. Fangs for everything, Bethesda! Yuck yuck yuck.

Skyrim's 4-disc soundtrack available for pre-order

Have you upgraded your computers yet?  I admit that I haven't, and I'm unfortunately a snobby Elder Scrolls purist who insists on playing these titles on the PC.  In any case, I'm greatly looking forward t...more

Neversoft burns the eye, gives out knives for studio's last day

As part of merging with Call of Duty's Infinity Ward to make a "super-studio," it is the last day of Neversoft as its own studio. The eye, perhaps made most famous by Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was burned in ceremony and everyone in the studio was given a knife Crocodile Dundee would be okay with. RIP in peaces, Neversoft.more
