You know why I love David Jaffe? Not only does the guy create great games, but he speaks his mind. He's not the usual PR bot that you run into all the time in the industry, this is a guy who'll say whatever the f*ck he wants. Such is the case in this awesome interview that GameTrailers had with Jaffe when they caught up with him at the Playboy Mansion. The man is brilliant.
I seriously like how he counters all that PR marketing spin the interviewer and "sony guy" were trying to pull out of him. Seemed like every question was looking for some "hype" "spin doctor" answer. But Jaffe avoided that and gave some real answers.
Also him being drunk while being awesome means he's awesome*2

And yeah, he's like this in the GoW bonus materials as well. At least he doesn't have the "I'm a rock star" hubris that John Romero had.
i think if everybody in the game industry was like jaffe then i wouldnt hate every single company like i do.

5. god of war 2 woulda helped the ps3 a lot if it was optimized for it. instead it will wiily wiily help da ps2 which is what i have.
