Dave Bondi's Akashi mashes Mario and Mickey Mouse photo

The world of designer vinyl is a strange one, to be sure, but if you are thinking to yourself "What in the ... what the hell am I looking at here?", I'd guess you wouldn't be the only one.

Artist Dave Bondi decided to a pop culture mashup by creating Akashi, who is a mix between Mickey Mouse and Mario. Measuring in at 9 inches and priced at $65, this piece ought to appeal to collectors who have a firm sense of humor. I have a feeling gamers may not relate to this piece as well an vinyl collectors, but I could be wrong. Are you loving or loathing it?

One of the most frightening things I've ever seen. I can't tell where Mickey ends and Mario begins...my entire Disney-hating/Nintendo-loving life has been a tragic lie.

i... am torn... it's cute... but i think deep down that is very wrong... it just made me think of the fact that walt disney had the largest collection of animal husbandry videos and that making me think of furries, and then it just all went to hell...
