Darkwood is my survival horror roguelike dream

May 28 // Jim Sterling    @JimSterling

I like the part where it's all the things I like

A new trailer for Darkwood made itself available today, showcasing some pre-alpha gameplay. It's a top-down affair with elements of survival horror and roguelike gameplay, and is that torchlight doubling as a health status? Yes it is!

The game's currently trying to get approved on Steam Greenlight, and has some crowdfunding stuff in the works. It looks like the studio has a great vision and knows what it's doing with this, so I'm pretty excited to see more. It's definitely pressing all the buttons needed to make me happy.

Anybody else into it?
