Darksiders II will be releasing next week and to help welcome in this new post-apocalypse, THQ is going to bring fans what they have been waiting for: Death and neat prizes! If you happen to live near the West Hollywood GameStop in sunny California, you can take part in a special midnight opening event hosted by THQ.
The event will take place on August 13 at 9:00pm and will give fans a chance to meet Lead Combat Designer Ben Cureton, as well as get their hands on the game a few hours before the rest of us mere mortals. There will also be giveaways for prizes such as posters and game covers signed Joe Madureira, Darksiders II DLC Season Passes and copies of the Darksiders novel The Abomination Vault.
Darksiders was a great game; the visual style, the combat, and the story made it shine. Let's hope that this second romp through Armageddon will be just as enjoyable.

Sure, the meme is a bit old but the added sound effects to the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate video is what really made this spoof for me. Bravo, Capcom-Unity.

You may now put your terrors to bed,...
I feel like we've been hearing a lot about The Last of Us lately, but that's far from a bad thing, as I'm finally starting to get a better idea of how it'll actually play. Here's more talk about the action-survival game, dir...
Dark Souls 2 is all about going in, guns blazing, and hoping to God it works. Oh dear.
