If you've read our review of Darksiders, you'll know I'm a big fan, so I'm very pleased indeed to learn that THQ will be producing some tat for the game! A range of statues from SOTA Toys, along with an art book featuring work from creative director and comic book lord Joe Madureira.

The first art book will debut at the San Diego Comic Con, where Joe Mad will also be signing it. The statues will be kicked off with a 14" model of War riding his horse Ruin. SOTA will begin taking preorders on it from July 22.

I'm quite pleased the game was clearly successful enough to spawn some merchandise. It's easily one of the best action games of the year so far and if THQ would like to keep making more, I would like to keep enjoying more, thanks!

Limited run, 20th anniversary PS4 is a PS1 throwback

Just for a second I thought this was colored like the silver PS2 I always thought was kind of sucky (or the recent Dragon Quest PS4), and then I saw those PlayStation Japan live stream pictures (via Kotaku) with that ma...more

Splatoon might just be Nintendo's most promising new game

When Nintendo announced its wacky four-on-four shooter Splatoon at E3, I thought it looked cool -- spraying ink on the battlefield and then swimming around in said ink is cool -- but I didn't freak out like some people. Havi...more
