With Bayonetta, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders, and probably some other game I'm leaving out on the horizon, it's a good time to be a fan of action games. While I want all three of those videogames, each for a different reason, Darksiders' action-adventure nature speaks to me most.
Originally due out on New Year's Day, Darksiders has been pushed back ever so slightly to a new January 5 launch day (the 7th for Europe). More importantly, however, is the game's newly-unveiled box art. If it doesn't make you want to kick demon ass with a big sword, what will?

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

The boxart is alright...but there's wayyyy too much yellowish grossness for my tastes. Seriously, if the yellow crap weren't there it would look a lot better.
Why is it so many genres are getting 2-3 potential hit this year. After Mr Sterling's piece on Bayonetta.
Look at the size of its cheeks!!
Still excited for the game though.
