Capcom has announced today that Dark Void Zero, previously only available on DSiWare, will be appearing on iPhone and Steam for PC on April 12th. The retro-styled prequel Dark Void was arguably better than the game that spawned it and it's nice to hear that those of us who don't have a DSi will be able to play it. Both versions of the game will be getting some new content in the form of achievements.
I played Dark Void Zero briefly at CES and the game is rather difficult. It requires such precision for your jumps and avoiding enemies that I have some doubts as to how well the game will operate on the iPhone. Capcom assures us in their press release that everything will be fine on the handheld but I know that I'll be grabbing the Steam version as soon as it drops.
How about you? Who's with me on picking this up April 12th?
