You know, for a supposed gameplay trailer, not a lot happens in this new Dark Void video. For a game about using a jetpack to jump around and shoot stuff, this really is quite a boring bit of footage. Nevertheless, I've still got moderately decent hopes for this one, so it's worth reminding you it exists.
This game is looking like it will basically be The Rocketeer but with more Nazi allegory aliens in it, which is no bad thing as far as I'm concerned. It's due out in January 2010, and should be a nice little shooter to kick off the new year. It's bound to be better than Damnation, at least.

Yeah. That was a terrible trailer. It leaves me thinking "Alright, its looks pretty overall. How about some actual pew-pew and some other assorted gameplay please."
That trailer is awful - it's just showing the environment off, and although it doesn't look bad, it doesn't look spectacular either. Add a generic american male's voice, military speak (Got a visual alpha tango bravo 84 echo oscar mike DZ broken arrow tango tango tango. Tango) and almost no footage of the jetpack (you know the part of the game that makes it stand out from any other generic looking game).
I have to say that this game could be good but I haven't seen much to want to make me play it.
