Dark Souls II on PC looks set for May 31

7:00 AM on 02.03.2014

Only a bit shy of a month away from Dark Souls II's console release, many are left wondering when exactly the PC version will be unleashed upon the masses. From Software's said in the past that it would see a slight delay so as to make sure it doesn't half-ass the game on PC, but nothing more concrete's been revealed about the length of that wait. Luckily, Amazon may have just cleared that up.

According to a listing on Amazon for a digital copy of the game, Dark Souls II will release on PC on May 31, 2014. Of course, Amazon isn't always entirely accurate with these sort of details -- sometimes using them more as rough estimate placeholders. However, even if the Saturday May 31 date is off, it's probably not far from when the actual release will be.

So, that leaves almost three entire months between the console and PC versions' respective releases. Three more months to anxiously await the many cruel fates that await you. Three more months before the self-loathing kicks in. Three more months your keyboard gets to be not smashed to smithereens.

Lords of the Fallen trailer: Lustful women and a moody CCR cover

Lords of the Fallen sits somewhere between Darksiders (#darksiders2) and Dark Souls. The trailer, with the God of War-styled heavy petting foursome, leans toward the former.  With the trailer comes the announcement that those who pre-order get bumped up to a Limited Edition, which just means some weapons, The Monk's Decipher DLC, and a soundtrack.more
