Here's a new trailer and some cool screenshots for Dark Souls, full of so many jacked-up monsters that you won't be able to stop giggling in anticipation of some serious hardcore combat.
From dragons to gigantic bug creatures to fast, aggressive skeletons, Dark Souls appears to have everything it needs to intimidate and brutalize you. This game is going to kick my arse so many times, and I'm going to love it.

Even though the character creator of the original was a bit lacking, I was still able to make a pretty badassed-looking Rikimaru thief. I hope they expand on the aesthetic selection a bit in the sequel.
Awesome. I cannot wait to put this game on hard and break my controllers. Death has never been a more bitter teacher and I have never been a sweeter target. Killing me just makes the game deliciously bittersweet.
If I absolutely had to pick between this or skyrim, I'd pick dark souls...I know skyrim will offer many more hours, but demons souls was one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played...right up there with ff6,metal gear and okami-for me,anyway
Wow some of those monsters look really impressive. If this game can recreate the atmosphere and tension of Demon's souls it may be the best thing that comes out this year.

Yeah, people are whiny little bitches. Ninja Gaiden is a hard game. Demon Souls isn't cheap.. which means you just need to be careful and plan ahead.
They should bring a demo out, for xbox atleast... as we haven't played demon souls i'm not sure what to expect. I am intrigued though as loads seem to love it so much.
I'm so pumped for this that it makes me angry something can even make me so pumped. This game is friggin' bad ass it has a crazy naked man with a stick as one of its classes, I'm not even bad ass enough to play that class I'm probably just going to be a hunter again or the bandit.

Not sure if I'll shell out the big bucks for Dark Souls, but the monster design looks amazing and I really *want* to like this game.
