I really liked the demo.
It's nothing new.
It's nothing special.
But I like the story and the gameplay. I'll have it beat with plenty of time to spare before GoW3 comes out.

Every post about Dante's Inferno I see takes about three days off my life.
Like, people say it's pretentious to say, "This is what's wrong with video games," but...Dante's Inferno is *everything* that is wrong with video games. Everything. Such is my rage, and I really should be directing my rage at socially conscious issues but...Dante's Inferno might be worse than ethnic cleansing.

Yah they really needed to release this game like 3 months ago, the timing is way too close to God of War 3.

TBH, only reason I'm getting this game at release is because I have a ton of game credit dollars saved up on Amazon.com and I ended up only paying $27 for it with my pre-order.
It doesn't look all that great or different. I'll probably rank it up there with the Conan game that came out two years ago.

I haven't been on dtoid in a while; everyone is being really critical on the game. Personally I can't wait to play it. THERE I SAID IT!

Is it me or people love to bash Dante's Inferno just cuz GoW3 exists?, from what i've seen DI looks pretty good, the previews so far seem to indicate the gameplay is well done too so why criticize what so far looks like a pretty good game that unlike GoW3 everyone with a PS3 or X360 can get, had i a PS3 i'd totally get both, but since i don't i'll settle for DI (provided the final product delivers on it's promises that is).

even if it's not a good game, i still won't whine because i feel like i owe visceral after Dead Space.

It gives off the vibe of being mindlessly violence, but when you dig down it has some real thought behind it. I'm generally no fan of the hack/slash variety, but I enjoyed the demo, like where the story is heading, and look forward to its release. I think people just want something to hate every now and then, so they make up complaints subconsciously and point their fingers at something random. It just so happens to be Dante's Inferno. Don't think too hard, kiddies.

I wanted to like Dantes Inferno after playing the demo because it actually is really good, but there is something about it...I don't know what...that makes me hate it. It doesn't do anything new...anything. But what it does it does almost flawlessly. It's weird, for some reason I still hate the game after playing the demo 3 or 4 times. Weird.

On top of the tons of other giveaways, seriously, anyone who couldn't see that those guards on the title screen were from Oblivion in under a second should get their licenses confiscated. Their... internet... surfing... picture identifying... Forget it.
