Visceral Games and Electronic Arts are showing the PlayStation 3 a lot of love with Dante's Inferno.
First, a demo for the game goes live on PlayStation Network first later today. Now, the developer and publisher have announced a special edition exclusive for the PS3. Called "Divine Edition," the game will ship with extra developer commentary, a Wayne Barlowe digital art book, the soundtrack, and a digital version of the Longfellow translation of Dante Aligieri's Inferno.
This of course isn't a "special edition," because it's the standard edition -- all PS3 versions of the game will come with these extras, for the standard $59.99 price. PS3 version of Dante's Inferno is blatantly better than Xbox 360 version of Dante's Inferno confirmed?

Seriously, I think it's an awesome move that another developer is giving us extra goodies at the standard price. Assuming this is limited, the deal is excellent. More devs should do this.
A beat em up starring Moses would be awesome.
I just recently saw some God of War III stuff I'm just dying to talk about (but can't), and let me assure you: the E3 demo is absolutely nothing compared to what they have in store.
As for Dante's Inferno, I'll have some demo impressions and video later this afternoon. I can't say much, but you probably won't want to miss it.

Also, apparently 2010 is the year of 3rd person ACTION games and they all look good.
you must of missed a bunch of the earlier videos/posts on it but barlowe designed hell and the demons/creatures in the game- I am looking forward to it too

Now if it actually had extra game content rather than a digital version of Dante's works.....maybe.
As far as buying it though, hmm, its up against all those games I was looking forward to this year that got pushed to 2010, so it might need to wait.

It's civil because the exclusive stuff is for ps3. It's hard for the SDF to attack something good for them, though there are a few comments =D
