EA and Bioware are so ban happy it's a wonder any one can actually play the game. I'll just wait till it goes free to play. It's a single player game anyway.
BANNED (because suspended sounds lame Onyx okay???)
"Suspended" makes me think I'm getting hanged from the ceiling.
"Banned" sounds like I'mm getting my faces smashed with a baseball hat.
So, I would say it's for the impact that people say "banned" rather than "suspended", even when they mean the later.
Some MMOs say "banned" when referring to a permanent state. Some use temporary bans.
Unless the phrase has a time period indicated, do not assume anything.
At this point, any other MMO studio will look like white knights compared to them.
Bioware, honey, listen to me. I know you guys want to take center stage and everything, walkin' around like you have Saturday night fever or something wearing a top hat, but like I said, you need to step up 2, maybe 3, more times before I'll start taking this game seriously.
Now go finish your damn game before I blind you all with hairspray or stomp the yard with your asses. And remember to save the last dance for me.

I would think something along these lines wouldn't be a huge issue and they could have a hotfix out by the end of the day.... proper motivation applied of course.
EA exemplifies a socialist mentality in this behavior. If the game would have had this tested, it wouldn't be a problem, but EA would rather shift the blame to it's paying customers.
I hope this MMO dies. I still hate EA.
@Judas
You have no idea what "socialist" means, do you?
If comment threads on the internet are any indication, nobody on the entire planet knows what "socialist" means.
Well, good thing I decided to just wait this one out. Because fuck that shit.
Get off the internet Jim, you are a moron.
I already know no one is going to pay attention so blow me.
The actual bans were for an organized exploit which took both Republic and Imperial players working together to achieve. The bans were also temporary. It was clearly against the EULA.
To be fair, one of the last Bounty Hunter class missions is named "Number One with a Bullet." In fact, this mission was mentioned in today's patch notes because of a bug. So even Bioware doesn't stick to the whole pew pew lazors thing.
