If the game's not ready, it's not ready. I don't care if they have to delay it till 2014, if that's what it takes for the game to be good then that's fine.
No worries here. Too many games this autumn anyway. Make it better, let me save my money <-- both good things.
Good. Delay it. It's going to be hard to satisfy me, especially with Twisted Metal Black. That was a sweet game. And now that it's M-rated, I expected black-level cruelty.

As much as i want to play this, i'm cool with the delay too. so many games this fall, Twisted Metal may have gotten lost in the mix.
That was one of the only things I was going to buy this fall. The other was the Vita. My Christmas is fucked. I guess I'll be getting Resistance 3 now and maybe Uncharted 3.

well the game originated as a PSN 15-20$ multiplayer-only title before sony stepped in and said that it will charge 40$ for it(simillar to Warhawk) and finally right before E3 2010 they said to the development team that it will be 60$ retail release and they have to create entire singleplayer campaign for it. what they've shown at E3 2010 was PSN version of the game cause that's all they developed.
at this year's E3 it still looked like PSN title in terms of graphics and overall production values so it's no wonder that they're delaying it considering the fact that in a little over 14 months they were suppose to develop entire singleplayer campaign, bump up entire game to be on par with retail releases while at E3 2010 it still was in alpha state. personally i doubt even delayed version of the game will be any good given those facts.

Awesome, way too many games this year. I this series and the graphics weren't up to par (even though jaffe said he wasn't worried about graphics).
Jaffe has never let me down. So he has my money, can't wait to play the game next year.

To be honest, a better game will come of the delay hopefully and really, I think it needs more time to gain attention. Many people are commenting that they didn't even know it was coming out in Oct. so this delay is a good thing, it seems.

This game is probably already superdy-duper epic. Now they're making it even more epic-er! Even better, 360 people can't play it because the 360 is poop! Gears of War and Halo will fall! I mean, really, does the poop60 have any other exclusive series that anybody talks about? PS3 has Uncharted, inFamous, Little Big Planet, Killzone, Twisted Metal, God of War, and Resistance. That is why it is the most awesome machine ever invented! 360 is poop!
Well even though I was looking forward to play it there was too many high profile games during that time, it's best if the game is released around January for both the consumer and publisher, less competition and less games I feel the need to buy. Now, where's my demo.
The multiplayer demo I played was awesome and left me drooling for more. Additional time could only be a good thing, regardless of the real reason.

This is okay for me. My Q4 is packed with games I want to buy so this spreads the shit out a bit more. Awesome! Jaffe, I know you wont disappoint!
