I can only play this a few hours at a time due to boner-pain. The word euphoric doesn't even come close. I may have to make a new word. The music alone is worthy of a purchase IMO.
When Nintendo really tries, they're can still the best software developer on the planet. Thank God some companies remember that games are supposed to be fun. I haven't cracked it open yet, but that's just because I'm still working on the first game.
This game deserves all the praise it gets!! The gameplay is perfect and there's so many secrets! I'm now in World 4 but I don't want to go yet because there's so many Prankster Comets I have yet to finish.
Game of the Forever!!!, words can not express the sheer happiness and nostalgia this game offers, so many fond memories and the sense of discovery every time you enter a new galaxy is staggering... games like these are the very reason this is my favorite hobby!! play this game NAW!!!
im not a hater at all of this game, but for some reason... i just can't find anything appealing to me, same for the first galaxy, i see screens, videos, video reviews and such, but nothing =/ it just can't make me want to play it. But then again i didn't really found that much fun on mario 64 and really hated sunshine. I dunno, 3D mario is not for me, i did liked new super mario for the ds and wii tough
Can't put down Monster Hunter, and when I do, I pick up Red Dead... but I'll buy this just one general principal. It's nice to have a masterpiece to play when you have a lull between games. :D

The game deserves it. I've never seen such a great balance between ball-bustingly cheap deaths and pure, star-bit-coated glee. The game just gives you so much to do, and it's hard to complain about any of it.
I don't get why some people insist on comparing this to Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2. Can't we just agree that they're all good games in their own ways? A good game on somebody else's console isn't going to make developers stop making good stuff for yours.

The real measure of its success is that despite being out for a few days there is yet to be a single 0/10 user review on GFAQs. Trolls on GFAQs can't even troll the game yet! MADNESS!!!
This is indeed a GREAT game.
The only thing I criticize is the damn purple star.. everytime it talks it's just.. meh.

I may cave and buy this, but Wii controls are such a huge turn off for me I haven't plugged in my Wii for two years.

It was a rough 2009 for the Wii, but happier times are here for sure in 2010. After neglecting my Wii for so long I'm now a little concerned I'll burn it out between sessions of Red Steel 2, SMG2, and Other M when it rolls out.
yeah this year is great for Wii owners, between Tatsunoko vs Capcom, NEw mario bros wii, cave story and this GAME Wii has been getting a lot of play time, I have never understood the my wii is getting dust argument, clean your dirty house!!! LAZY BASTARDS!!!

Also, it's a very fun game indeed, from the little I've played of it. Amazing they managed to get such nice visuals out of it too on the Wii's weak hardware.

I can't think of a single thing I would change about this game. And that's saying an awful lot considering how many different galaxies there are, each with their own perks and mechanics.

I want to buy the 1st one but dropping $44.99 used or $54.99 new is beyond me in terms of what I am willing to spend.

I feel the same way. But seeing as how many reviewers rated it so high, I'm willing to take a second chance. Resale/trade value will help cushion the blow if I'm disappointed.

Nintendo buys reviews??? Ok. Mag was not that great. 7/10. Just an average fps. Pharoahnodoze you are obviously a failure as a troll and a fanboy:) I'm sure all game companies put out some swag to get nice reviews. While I haven't played SMG2 it seems to me 30 10/10 reviews says something about this game. Surely nintendo didn't buy them all.
The current score of 98 puts it in pretty rareified air. Metacritic only has 14 games in it's database with a score of 97 or higher. SMG2 at present is the fifth game with 98+. Zelda:OoT is the only game scoring 99. It will be interesting to see if the score stays that high.
