Daily irrelevance: Game piracy lawyers protecting the rights of Army F*ckers

This is only related to videogames in the most vague of ways, but it's far too hilarious a story to pass up. The UK law firm that is currently putting pressure on thousands of alleged videogame pirates is now tightening the screws on gay porn.

Davenport Lyons is responsible for the notorious mass war on UK pirates, an initiative backed by Atari and Codemasters. The war has come under fire for questionable tactics and, in one case, an elderly couple receiving a threatening letter from Atari.

But for now, Davenport Lyons is fighting to protect Army F*ckers, a hardcore gay porn movie that features farm boys and Gestapo officers. The film is set on a Czechoslovakian farm, where Gestapo members hand out "forced" punishment. The film, released in 2006, is no longer owned by the original license holder. An anti-piracy group from Germany actively bought the rights, presumably just to make money from lawsuits. 

The back cover of the DVD promises that "Army Studs F*ck Village Twinks." Just felt like sharing. 

Like all things involving Davenport Lyons, it's incredibly shady business and likely more corrupt than a Gestapo spitroast. All things considered, however, I have to say it's hilarious to picture a serious court battle over Army F*ckers. I hope they have to review the evidence in full.
