So in other words, they're releasing two different figures in various palette swaps. Gotta agree, the quality is somewhat lacking here. :-/

I wouldn't be so quick to blame the toymakers when the people who first designed the characters were so uninspired and creatively bankrupt. Half the cast is just a bunch of ninjas with a Power Ranger color scheme going on and mysteriously missing sleeves.

I should be fair with my quip about the quality - I hadn't taken into account that these are action figures and not models, so the level of detail does tend to be a bit lower. Still not into these figures, but I'll be interested to see what the other characters look like when they're released.

Scorpion's eyes are very like those of a crack whore I used to know. I hope he doesn't have a tramp stamp, too.
These seriously look like those weird knock-off G.I.JOEs you'd get at the dollar store, if only because you don't want to melt your better, awesomer Joe's with your homemade Cobra Death Ray.
In todays world I can't see a reason why these would be so shitty unless they were actively making it a point to say how shitty looking the classic MK's looked.
