Cute-'em-up Flying Hamster HD glides to PS Vita next week

Cute-'em-up Flying Hamster HD is coming to PlayStation Vita on June 11, developer The Game Atelier has announced. An adorable horizontal shooter, the story chronicles the journey of Newton, a brave young hamster on a quest to rescue his lady friend from an army of malicious critters.

Flying Hamster originally launched on PlayStation minis in 2010, and landed on iOS devices the following year. The title will make a return trip to PlayStation Network next week sporting enhanced graphics, trophies, additional control schemes, and online leaderboards for $3.99.
