Custom Toy Delights: Paratrooper Labbit and Luigi Dunny photo

As usual, the world of designer vinyl customs always manages to surprise and excite me. This latest piece from a Flickr user called Nikejerk3 shows off two Mario-themed customs: a Labbit trandformed into a smoking Paratrooper and a Dunny made to look like Luigi. Nikejerk3 even went to the trouble of making a custom box for the Labbit, which you can see in the gallery.

These pieces were createdat the request of a private collector, according to the artist. Pretty cool stuff! He has tons of other customs well worth seeing in his photostream, so if you have a few moments to spare today, you may as well have a look.

I'm liking the new "Originally from Tomopop" banner thing, it's a lot better than reading it at the end of the blog. One question, where's the NextLust version! :P

Seriously though Luigi looks good, but the Paratrooper looks great, the box was a nice touch. Hopefully after my illustrator skills get better, I'll be able to make Dunny/Munny/Some vinyl toy, though I'm not as good with a paintbrush as I am with a pencil.

That Paratroopa has a cigarette. That makes it the greatest toy I've ever seen.

And the Luigi one is cool, and I assume it's supposed to give off a cute vibe, but with those eyes, I'm not really getting it.
