Kickboxer Cung Le's videogame-related resume is fleshing out nicely.
The former Stikeforce Middle Weight Champion recently portrayed Marshall Law in the upcoming (straight to DVD?) Tekken film based on Namco Bandai's fighter. Now, the fighter-turned-actor will be making an in-game appearance as himself in the upcoming EA Sports MMA title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
EA sat down with Le to discuss the mo-cap process, which apparently involved him kicking the sh*t out of some poor dude. My favorite part of the video is how Le says "my scissor kick" at the 30-second mark. Kinda weird, buddy. Don't hurt me.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. Very Nice blog I have enjoyed reading here and I will keep visiting this blog.

Cung Le wouldn't have been Strikeforce Middleweight Champion if Frank Shamrock didn't agree not to go the ground with him. It was a ridiculous MMA fight all around, of course a highly experienced kickboxer/sanshou fighter is going to beat a wrestler in a kickboxing match. I'm gonna have fun ground and pounding this guy in this game.
YESSSSS!!!!! Now I'm really thinking this is gonna outdo the THQ/UFC follow-up.....for those of you who don't know Cung, he is (in real life) the one guy who is like watching a video game character with his kickboxing skills when watching him fight live......this is gonna kick ass.
yeah I just read that on an MMA blog. Man I haven't been keeping up with the Strikeforce stuff. I haven't read anything since the Fedor fight so I figured nothing had been going on. Good to see him actually participating again. I assume the CBS deal incentivised him to get on TV.
