FPS Crysis was always a PC thing, but now it's also a console thing as of today. Yeah, it's not going to look like it would on a high-end PC rig, but CryEngine3 is definitely doing some fancy stuff with the visuals.

The only thing I don't like about this port is that you can't save at any time. Couldn't you save at any time on PC? It's all checkpoints, like Crysis 2.
It finally finished downloading and I just beat the opening mission. So far I'm very impressed. It really does feel like a sandbox shooter so far, the whole mission the Sgt guy kept telling how to use different powers while I was just mowing everyone down in a humvee. Goodtimes :)

Also man, how is that reasonable? It's a 4 year old game with the multiplayer content being cut out. You buy Crysis and Crysis Warhead off steam right now for £6. With Crysis (including multiplayer) cost £2.50.
That's not fucking reasonable son. The game should cost about £5 at most.
No disc version? I do have room on my PS3 hard drive and I'm downloading it now. I just prefer the Xbox controller for FPS games and my tiny 20 gig hd is filled with the Rage install right now. Oh, and that was very funny everyone repeating my triple post. Damn you toilet edition!

Anyone who can run the PC game one at least high settings won't need this, and a downloadable ONLY release is just kinda wierd. Still, it's a game that definitely needs to be played.
I can run the original bad boy maxed out, and honestly Cryengine 2 just looks better to me as it has a much cleaner look.
I never purchased anything from Games on Demand but I believe you can buy the games without purchasing Microsoft Points. I may be wrong but I doubt it.
It controls surprisingly well on the PS3. It looks great. Has better lighting effects than on my PC. I also like how it utilizes the powers as they were set up in Crysis 2 for console so it's easy to manage powers on the fly

This isn't 2007, a mid end pc will run it well above console settings no problem. God, the gaming media these days, hipsters with white teeth.
