This is going directly into the backlog to be purchased later, hopefully during a PS+ sale or something. I just can't justify 20 bucks on a PSN download heading into the fall. Too many games I'm going to have to purchase at full retail price.

Attention Microsoft: if you want people to be able to Download and enjoy good games like Crysis, then stop being a dick with your hard drives!! Shit, 250gb is the biggest you can get for a 360 and mine has exactly 5gigs left, it's ridiculous for a company to so fully support downloadable titles and DLC but then give you shit for storage.

microsoft really needs to expand usb memory usage from 16GB to at least 120GB. because we all know they want to keep selling their 250GB 2.5 Western Digital rebranded hard drive for $300. my 250GB still has room for crysis but i know how easy it will be to fill that free-space.

For anyone not paying attention, this is the 2nd article today where Sterling is telling us there's really no advantages to console gaming anymore, and they're all basically "crummy computers" now.
Dude you are really REALLY trying hard to read something into this. I mean, this is a herculean effort to find trolling in a release date announcement post.
Pfft. Not sure anyone cares anymore. The only good point about Crysis was the graphics. The game itself is severely lacking in anything that could be called, "Fun." And since these are aging consoles now, the graphics that made everyone shit their pants upon PC release will be so watered down as to be almost totally unexciting.

My personal opinion is that Crysis is rather boring, it was really hyped when it came out and all I found was a pretty game were you do nothing most of the time, then get into a really cool looking alien ship level, and then spend the rest of the game fighting incredibly overpowered flying enemies.
But if it sold the way it did, I guess the general concensus is that it must be good.

I'd buy but with Dark Souls and Rage coming out on the same day its unlikely. Even though I have the better pc version, I'll get this at some point just to have an excuse to play it again(and yes, trophies)

It's hard to beleive Crysis is now 4 years old.
That's older than my nephew. In terms of time, it could actually be considered a last gen pc title.
I will be playing Shogun 2: Rise Of The Samurai on my pc, a title that cannot be made possible on consoles. A proper game, for the thinking gamer. The pc gamer. Console gaming is for simple folk.

I hope there is a demo. I just want to see how it looks on a console. With Battlefield 3 around the corner, $20 is a little steep to have it sit in the backlog.
